Do you know CBSE is rescheduling the Class 10th Board Exams paper? But, that’s not for every other student you see. It is for none other than 15-year-old Anish Bhanwala, the young shooter who will be arriving from his maiden International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup in Mexico to write his board exams as soon. Anish’s father Jagpal said that his son would be appearing for his papers as early as two in the morning.
Anish would be appearing for two papers in the six-day gap between his arrival from Guadalajara, Mexico, and departure for the Junior World Cup in Sydney, Australia. In an unprecedented move, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has agreed to rearrange three papers for the child prodigy.
Quipping in, Jagpal had earlier mentioned as to how children had to choose between studies and sports. He later thanked the Sports Ministry, Sports Authority of India, the national federation, CBSE and his school for the arrangement made.
The Bhanwals finally have been able to breathe a sigh of relief after CBSE decided to re-conduct three of Anish’s papers that was Hindi, Social Sciences and Mathematics — scheduled on April 16, 17 and 18, respectively. The CBSE took the decision on the request of the Sports Authority of India, who made an appeal after Anish had approached them. In fact, even the National Rifle Association of India had written to the school authorities that Anish be allowed to take exams later. UP Board Date Sheet 2018
